He has a Super Bowl ring and has been playing very well the last five years.
BTW, if you claim he's not top 10, who IS? |

What if Eli gets hurt? The Giants won't have any money left to get another QB!

Rosenfels? I'm sorry, but to say that a guy who WON A SUPERBOWL should be ranked lowere than a guy who HAS NEVER PLAYED A PLAYOFF GAME?Eli beat a Patriots team going for a perfect record; Rosenfels has more losses than wins. Does. Not. Compute. |

They gave him 97 million dollars? holy sh*t. he is not top ten.
big ben won two superbowls, and is a better QB, but doesn't make him number one, if we're going by superbowl appearences and wins. Brady is probably one of the exceptions, but superbowl wins are team related. I don't think any NFL player is worth 97 million. that is absolutely ridiculous money. you couldn't pay me, to spend $97 million. |

I just noticed something. It was a GREAT day to be a "Eli", on a team with the name "Giants." Eli Whiteside of the San Francisco Giants hit a Grand Slam, for his first home run of the season, in a 10-6 win over Houston. Eli Manning of the New York Giants, earned a $97 million, $30 million guarenteed contract.

I'll take any of McNabb's backups over Rosenfels.

Yeah, I was real surprised when I read about his contract. Not saying he don't deserve it, but that's a little too much for a QB of his calibre. I am not calling him a bad QB, just a very good QB. Maybe a top 15 QB, but definitely not a top 10 QB.
