I can never understand the beginning when Lave & Shirley are doing the 'Schlemel, Shlamazel ... something incorporated.'

The girls actually worked at the Shotz Brewery. I don't know the story behind the Sclemeel, Schemazel chant.

Wiki definition: "Hasenpfeffer (also spelled hasenfeffer) is a traditional German stew made from marinated rabbit or hare." I'm glad the question was asked, because I knew it had something to do with cooking but had never looked it up...
