My Uncle Passed Away Friday (7-31-09) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My uncle that I was really close to passed away Friday. I took care of him a lot. He was more than a uncle to me, he was also a best friend. He was sick for a long time. He was in his 50's. He had Muscular Distrophy since he was 4 years old. But in the last few years of his life, it got worse. But at least he is not suffering anymore and is in a better place now. It is going to take some time for me to get over his death.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your uncle Jason!!

It's obvious that you were a great nephew who cared for him deeply, and he was lucky to have you with him at the end of his life. God Bless you and your family during this extremely difficult time, and I pray that God comfort you all during this time!!
