Default I know I'm not the only one who received these type of Friend Requests on Facebook

Have you ever received a friend request from someone you went to school with but never ever talked to?-lol

I received two requests like that this week, one girl who i never ever talked to but went to the same elemenary school sends me a friend request. Then this other nut who I went to college with who I may have only said 4 things to in 5 years has repeatedly send friend requests. Why do people do this??-

I guess it's just to see what you are up to. I have some friends I hardly talked to in High School but I have them as friends just to see what they are doing and stuff.

Just recently I got a message from a lady who wants to know if I am the sister of her very best friend. I haven't replied yet but I will tell her I am then see what happens next.

I wonder if she saw both of mine on there and was wondering. I have two facebook pages, one for my classmates and stuff and the other for my mom's friend's in Iceland. Even though my mom doesn't use the Icelandic one much but I do check it.

I have a few people on my friends list that I never talked to in HS. I don't get it, but I do talk to them more on there. Growing up and maturing I guess.

My mom just got a facebook and she gets hella pissed because all of these people she went to high school w/ started adding her, lol. She gets so angry and keeps denying the requests but this one dude has seriously asked to be her friend like four times... whom she had never said one word to in high school. She said there's all these people that all of a sudden are friends now and like kick it w/ each other that never even spoke to each other in high school. Facebook's an interesting phenomenon to say the least.

I have had a lot of people from highschool ask to be "friends" on facebook and I add them even if we weren't close back then. Most of them have grown up a lot and we do comment on each other's posts. Some of us have things in common now, like kids the same age or jobs that are the same, etc. However, there is one girl who was horrible to me (and just about everyone else) in highschool. She was an awful bully. She tried to friend me and I turned her down. I just couldn't get past my anger at her. A lot of other people have friended her though and when I see her posts on others pages, I am grateful I turned her down. She's still a jerk in my opinion.

I don't have a facebook account, but there are two guys on my myspace I went to school with on my friends list. I talked to them here and there, but I never considered them friends. They were cool though, if they weren't I wouldn't have accepted them as friends.

That happened to me too and I just added them, we seem to talk now that we've gotten older.

Thankfully I dont get those kinds of friends requests on Facebook. More than likely I wont since I was persona non grata in high school.

I still get that kind of friend request now and then. I usually accept it, because I usually want to see what my classmates have been like since graduation.

I've received a few requests from people I went to high school with. They wouldn't give me the time of day back then and treated me like dog poop. Now they want to be friends with me? Puh-LEEZE!!!
