-Glenn Martin, DDS
Premieres Monday, August 17, 2009
Launch Week Aug. 17-21, 8PM each night
Regular Time-Spot Mondays at 8PM
Glenn Martin, DDS is the first television production to come out of Michael Eisner’s Tornante Animation Company. The original stop-motion animated series follows the life of Glenn Martin (Kevin Nealon), who yearns for a change of scenery and a deeper connection with his family. Determined to bring the family closer together, Glenn takes the Martins on a road trip to protest the destruction of a beloved childhood park. As things unravel right from the get-go, the family is forced to make the dental-mobile – replete with a giant decorative toothbrush on the roof – their new home. Glenn, Jackie (Catherine O’Hara) and Courtney (Jackie Clarke) – an 11-year-old future corporate maven who brings along her personal assistant, Wendy (Judy Greer), a 14-year-old North Korean exile – and son, Conor (Peter Oldring), the 13-year-old hormone-addled tween who’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed--quickly learn when hitting the road that the road can sometimes hit back in unexpected ways. The Martins are accompanied on their journey by the family dog, Canine, who’s pronounced buttocks only add to the hilarity.

First four episodes will air Aug. 17-20 at 8PM (after new episodes of The Penguins of Madagascar) before settling into its regular Mondays at 8pm timeslot starting Aug. 24. There will be a marathon of the first four episodes on Friday, August 21 from 8-10pm ET/PT. The first four episodes will also encore on sister network Comedy Central at 6pm Tues-Fri, the next night.

Monday, August 17, at 8:00 p.m. - Glenn Martin, DDS #102 “Amish Anguish”
When Glenn’s family fails to appreciate the beauty of Niagara Falls because they are too plugged in to their BlackBerry devices and Game Boys, Glenn confiscates all technology and stops in an Amish village to teach them a lesson. Unfortunately, his plan backfires when his family enjoys the village more than he does. If he wants to escape Amish country with his family intact, Glenn must learn to overcome his fear of technology.

Tuesday, August 18, at 8:00 p.m. - Glenn Martin, DDS #109 “Circus”
After Conor realizes that he has never won anything in his entire life, Glenn takes the family to a roadside circus to cheer him up. While there, Glenn acts as the circus dentist and Conor develops a long-hidden (and disgusting) talent. Meanwhile, Jackie befriends the circus strong woman and Courtney learns to fend for herself when Wendy decides to take her vacation days.

Wednesday, August 19, at 8:00 p.m. - Glenn Martin, DDS #101 “Save the Tooth”
After reading an article in a magazine about the demolition of his favorite childhood park, Glenn rents an RV and forces his family to go on a road trip to the park to protest. The trip is in jeopardy when Glenn gets in trouble with the law and must clean the teeth of everyone in town before he can leave. It looks like Glenn won’t get to the park in time to save it, unless he gets a little help from his family.

Thursday, August 20, at 8:00 p.m. - Glenn Martin, DDS #103 “Pimp My RV”
Living in the RV is starting to wear on Jackie. In an effort to cheer her up, Glenn promises that she can redecorate to make it seem more like home. However, when they pick up a mysterious hitchhiker who says he can help with the interior design, Glenn’s jealousy of this stranger threatens to get in the way of his family’s happiness.

Trust me Nick.com is not always right... I think they are going to be showing Lopez, not Malcolm but I could be wrong...

Does anyone else think Glenn Martin DDS will flop? I just don't have a good feeling about it. I may watch an episode for the heck of it, but I think the 8pm hour with GMDDS/MitM will be bad, especially since Malcolm doesn't appear to be doing outstandingly well for them.

Home Improvement needs to be 12-1am, Family Matters 1-2am, THEN The Nanny 2-3am.

I do. I really can't see any kids watching it, and I doubt adults are going to tune in at 8pm to watch it.

Millionaire was fun. I went to the "Night 5" taping, so it airs Thursday, Aug. 13. Shawn Johnson was the celeb at the end of the show. The three contestants were great, and can't wait to see what happens to the last contestant on "Night 6." Regis is hilarious and very nice! I'm sure I'll be on TV. Camera was on our side (behind the contestant) a lot!

As for Nick at Nite, Glenn Martin will have a shot to do well. Why? It will air out of new episodes of Penguins of Madagascar at 7:30pm for all four nights.

WTF has happened to Family Matters?

4 hours of The Nanny? 3 hours of FP? How did N@N turn so bad so fast?

The Nanny must be doing a bang-ass job in the ratings, lol. 4 hours in a row a night? The only other show to ever get that treatment is Fresh Prince. Seems like viewers are just not watching Family Matters wherever it airs anymore, yet they are watching The Nanny.
