Default The Latest TV Land Original Series is....

This is NOT a joke!

Quote:
Did you once turn heads with your good looks and amazing physique, but now feel like your shape has become a bit soft? Maybe you were a former beauty queen, athlete, model or town hottie who just needs a bit of a push to get back into top shape. If so, a major TV network is now casting a new weight loss show and we'd like to hear from you.
LOL!!! Sounds like a Biggest Loser rip-off! They are so pathetic. We can file it with She's Got the Look and The Cougar in the "fail" category already - lol.

TVLand Sucks and has been sucking for quite a while now and IMHO will continue to suck.

I think TV Land could actually have mild success with "How'd You Get So Rich?" and "Make my Day," since both shows sound simple enough that anyone could watch them. But this new weight-loss show - what's the need for it?

I agree. Plus, HYGSR has Joan Rivers, and she is probably going to be a draw herself. I think it could do better than The Cougar and She's Got the Look.

Make My Day, I don't know. The promos don't look that compelling to me. I'll sample them I guess but I think HYGSR is going to be the stronger of the 2, it seems to be getting more attention (no wonder).

I'll definitely be tuning in for HYGSR, mainly for Joan Rivers, but shows like that usually have a following. I'll probably stick around for MMD as well - these will be the first reality shows I've watched on TV Land in years, so hopefully they'll be worth it.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on it, but I think I'll at least watch HYGSR a little to see Joan. I don't think it would have a chance without her, though.

That weight loss show will flop worse than anything. They need to stop these competition type shows that don't work like The Cougar, SGTL.

Good Lord. They should just make a reality show of the idiots that decide what to put on the channel. THAT would be comedy.

It would also be reality, lol. Now I'd watch that, just to get some insight into what the hell they're thinking half the time

Would She's Got the Look really be a failure? If it was a failure, why would they renew it?

It supposedly did well in its first season, but was a bust this past season. Did they renew it for a third?

Not that I'm aware of. They may mean for a second season.

Looking at Joan Rivers face is like looking at a man with a bad toupee (for example that politician from Ohio)--you dont want to look but you cant help it.
