Cool

I shop at Amazon and have purchased DVD's and books from them. I have attemted to purchase items on E-Bay on a couple of occasions but was not successful. To me there are two big differences between the two. First of all on Amazon you know exactly the price you are going to pay whereas at E-Bay you don't know the price until the end of the auction. Second, when you purchase something from Amazon you know you are going to receive that item whereas on E-Bay only the person that wins the auction gets the item and even then you have to hope the seller is honest and dealing in good faith. So I would rather shop at Amazon.

I shop more from Amazon. The only time I shop ebay is if I'm trying to find things that are hard to find.

I prefer Ebay for shopping. Amazon is usually where I buy textbooks because they have some good deals on there. Also, I prefer to sell things on Amazon (the only things I really sell are books) because you can list things for longer and for free, even though they do get a percentage of your profits.

Ebay is good if what you're looking for is rare. I've bought stuff there occaisonally, but I'm a die-hard Amazon user. They've got everything. It's def. one of the best online stores.

I used to like Amazon but lately they have trouble processing gift cards so I haven't bothered to use them much. I'm starting to like department store websites like Wal-Mart and Target much better, especially where the stores sell their own special cards that get instant approval online.

Keep in mind that you don't have to bid on anything on eBay. The buy it now option is always there and you can find a good deal if you take the time to look for one. If I'm looking for an item, I always search the buy it now listings with lowest prices first. I then make sure the shipping charges are reasonable and finally I check the seller's rating before purchasing.

I shop nowhere else but ebay now. I have saved so much money since finding ebay it's not even funny. DVDs that would go for $25-$30 in a store I've gotten for $10. As long as you know how to bid, and don't get frustrated easily, I highly recommend going to ebay.

I like Amazon, it's easy & quick & so far there's been no problem with any of my orders. My son however, is a big fan of ebay, he's ordered a bunch of stuff for his atv & his car on that site & he's gotten some great bargains. But I just prefer Amazon for my purchases.
