Angry What a dumb@$$ show!

Why did this show ever air? It was a dumb ****** show, Vicki's dad WAS ANNOYING, and it didn't become popular! I wish John just stick with movies like Problem Child he is funnier in those! TAC made him a dork!! Thank god there are no repeats airing!!! YEAH!

Well...although TAC wasn't exactly anything as good as TC, the show wasn't horrible, although Vicki's dad was annoying, but I loved Vicki...she was a sweetheart.

Mary Cadorette was originally a dancer on Broadway, and she left Broadway to do TAC. Most dancers are very thin.

I agree that TAC wasn't as good as TC, but it wasn't that bad either. It was ok.

Even though it's not as good as Three's Company, Its still better then half the sitcoms that air today.

I would say it's better than ALL THE SITCOMS OUT THERE TODAY!!!

There is nothing out there worth watching except 8 Simple Rules and frankly my interest has only peaked because of what happened to Ritter.

Face, it is nowhere near or good as 3's Company and not even as good as 3's a Crowd.

Default I didn't like it

I have never watch TAC, but after watching the episode in TC where they introduce Vicki, I don't think I will ever watch it. She was not funny or cute. I thought her acting was ok, but she didn't fit Jack's type of girl!

I totally agree. I didn't like the character of Vicki. She seemed to have brought Jack's energy down. She didn't seem at all like his type. I mean, the show just seemed so lame compared to all of John's other roles in his career. And no I'm not putting down John, I love that man. This is just my opinion about that show.

Ditto to that - vickie was just WRONG, i think the real question was what was JR smokin when he agreed to leave TC for this, I mean I realize that TC had to end sometime, but not like THIS!!!

This show like TC was based on the British series. After Man About the House ended in England the main character moved in with his girlfriend so I guess ABC figured that gimmick would work in the US too. Same thing with the Ropers. i just learned that in England of all the shows George and Mildred (the British version of the Ropers) ran the longest (4 years) while the others only ran for like 2 years each.
