Default Wedding In Las Vegas: It Was Terrible And I Hated It, Double Thumbs Down

This movie stinks, just for the simple fact that the wrong woman was getting married to Zack Morris and the wrong man was getting married to Kelly Kapowski!!, i always been a fan of Zack and Lisa's (Zisa!!) romance storyline, ever since i seen they're brewing romance on the "Bayside Triangle'. And other episodes proved that they had WICKED chemistry i.e. "Operation Zack", "Fake I.Ds", "Lisa's Card". They made a gorgeous couple and they had way better chemistry on-screen and definitely off-screen in real life compared to any other cast members (considering that they had the longest and most serious relationship, '89-92) It's atrocious that the damn idiot writers didn't explore more with this romance. It's like they wanna force this Zack and Kelly thang on us when in all actually, they didn't have the chemistry that Zack and Lisa had and they knew it!! (I guess it had something to do with the whole 'interracial couple' issue, but grow up!! it was the damn 90s and times were definitely more modern and different as opposed to the previous decades!) If they actually explored the interracial romance into the damn movie and the show, maybe it would have been better and got a better rating. It would have added more depth to the story, it would have been interesting to see both of their families opposing to the marriage not only because they were too young, but racial/cultural differences as well, I would love to see how the couple would handle that! It would have been dope to see rival gangs such as KKK and the Black Panthers chasing the couple all around, disgusted that they see an interracial couple happy and in-love. There is so many more directions they could have went with the story with 'Mark & Lark'. But unfortunately, we as fans would never get to see that happen, BOOOO!!

You are reading too much into buddy. In fact, I always considered Saved by the Bell to be very socially progressive in several aspects. It was even post racial but I guess some fans (like yourself) are the ones that are stuck in a different era, generation. And please don't have the Black Panthers in the same sentence as the KKK. The Black Panther worked towards social reform and provided meals for students, got people off drugs, etc. The KKK were just fear mongers.

Zack was just more into Kelly. It was not a black or white thing.

It's just a silly television show(or silly made-for-tv-movie in this case). Stop acting like it's real life. The ironic thing is Mark-Paul and Lark actually dated in real life...

Wedding in Las Vegas is a fine movie. I personally like Hawiian Style more, but Wedding makes for a good closing chapter to SbtB

Zack and Kelly didn't get married in the Las Vegas wedding episode? I never saw the whole thing. I saw only a little bit. I think Zack and Kelly were made for each other. They had better chemistry than him and Lisa.

I agree. From day one, Zack was into Kelly. A Jessie Fan could make the same agruement since Zack was close to her too. I think SBTB's characterization of Lisa as a young African, American was cutting edge and positive. If you want to see drama, watch Degrassi Junior High.

Yeah, I don't think that it was about race regarding Zack and Lisa. Zack and Kelly were the couple.

[QUOTE=TheLifeAdjuster]Zack and Lisa?????-LOL

How about them? The only thing they would have in common would be that they both have academic intelligence. LOL.

O.T. Solomon, I am in Philadelphia and "Stinkadelphia" is actually nice. LOL. I'm working on a reality show for one of the viacom channels.
