Well last year the Cowboys coaches said they had the best roster in the league and look at how that turned out. Maybe the same will happen for the Eagles. Talk is cheap anyway. It's what you do on the field that counts.

I guess Banner forgot they made the playoffs by default last season. You could never tell that by how they played once they got in though-lol That's why I always say regular records and division titles don't mean SH*T once the postseason starts

Joe, just shut up already lol. I hate when teams do this. You never see disciplined franchises do this. As much as I dislike the Pats, I give absolute credit. They never come out with comments or crap like this.

I wish our players & coaches/management would do a SUSU, Shut Up, Show Up. Just shut up with comments that you're the best, have the best team/roster etc. the whole season. Keep it to yourself, and go out and win games and actually prove you are the best. Like Sonny said, words are words- go out and do it. Now everybody is going to be hunting us lol.

On another note, McDermott is the defensive coach for the Eagles now....Get Well Jimmy .

The reporter on the radio said this morning that his purpose for saying it was to let Mcnabb and Reid know that there won't be any excuses if they don't atleast REACH a SB this season

They should get their. They aren't the best team. ESPN had them at # 3/4, which is about right. I would have the Pats at number 1, and the Steelers second, then the Eagles. And yeah, it is true but you keep that to yourself. You don't say, we're going to the superbowl, we have the best team, even if it's motivation to be able to get their/sending messages to your players like that, you still keep it within the organization. Plus, you don't tell reporters that either. You tell your players and coaches that, and keep it at that.
