Crazy Sean 'Diddy' Combs Wants to be the First Black James Bond

Rapper-turned-actor Sean 'Diddy' Combs is still waiting for James Bond bosses to make him the first black 007.

The music mogul claims his move from studio and stage to screen has gone "beyond expectation" after landing roles in Jon Favreau movie Made, TV drama CSI: Miami and forthcoming Judd Apatow movie Get Him to the Greek - but he's still waiting for his dream role, as Daniel Craig's replacement.

Combs says, "Nobody's called me back yet. Bond people, I'm here waiting. My number's listed. I'm waiting to get a crack."

First, he has to acquire some actual talent.

He's a horrible actor, he was very, very awful in the remake of "Raisin In the Sun", I only watched it once and have no desire to watch it again. If they ever do get a black actor to portray Bond, it should be a good one.

Sean. Diddy. Puffy. Etc.

I'm sure you may think that partying on a yacht in St. Tropez makes you the greatest actor in the world, but....

You along with a few other singers (okay, Beyonce) with acting aspirations have to realize one thing...

Just because you say you want to be in a movie, doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Sorry P.

I never liked the guy or his arrogance, if it's made I won't be seeing it anytime soon. Guys like him don't deserve what they have.

I knew that dissing Poof Diddley on a thread wouldn't be threadcrapping because, well, he's Poof Diddley. He doesn't qualify as an artist.

And he's proven it both in the music and acting worlds. I just don't understand why this guy's still around and has a fairly high profile. I think he's famous now just because he's famous.

Okay......... I'll admit I've never seen him act on a movie so I suspect that everyone here might just be correct. It is a good idea though. Maybe Denzel can play the part?

I saw him in a scene from a TV show. I think it was CSI: Miami. He was basically being himself, trying to be cool and not showing anything in the way of range or emotion. Hell, he made David Caruso seem like a great actor by comparison.

The thought of P-diddy playing James Bond is hysterical to me. My first reaction to reading this was literally to laugh out loud. There are definitely black men well suited for the role in my view. Guys like Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, or even Jamie Foxx, but I just can't picture Puffy as 007. Puffy as 007 would be more like 000 to me, and that's about how much he'd make at the box office too.

My feelings exactly. I just can't picture Will Smith as James Bond. Denzel or Samuel L. maybe, but not Will.

Sean Combs is no great actor. Why would 007 be given to him anyway? He'd probably have to kiss a lot of studio executive ass in order to even be considered.

The only things I've seen him in were Monster's Ball, which he didn't have a big part of, and that AWFUL direct-to-dvd sequel of Carlito's Way.

Almost anyone can out-act Caruso. My mom loves the CSI shows and I always call him the man of the one facial expression.

Has anyone ever read Ben Jones' book, Redneck in the Promised Land? For those of you who don't know, Ben Jones played Cooter on Dukes of Hazzard and happened to be a guest star on the late 90s Caruso show Michael Hayes. He didn't have much good to say about Caruso, mainly that the guy has the biggest ego on the planet. I know I was shocked.
