Asked at Comic-Con about the status of the long-discussed Arrested Development movie, series star Jason Bateman said he's still amped up to bring the cult Fox comedy to the big screen: "It's not dead. It's still going forward.... I wouldn't be surprised if [AD creator] Mitch Hurwitz called me tomorrow and had 50 or 100 pages done. He's very fast. It could be anywhere between 6 months from now and 18 months from now. I hope it's sooner."

My god. This film is taking forevar. First i tough that they would begin filming in fall 2009 and have the film ready for the big screens in Summer 2010, but know it's going to be 6-18 months. That's rediculous!! It's not like Mitchell Hurwitz is busy with Sit Down Shut Up anymore. he's working on anything right know (AS FAR AS I KNOW OF) he sould be done with this scrpt by know and ready to film.
