TV One started a marathon last night of Living Single and yes there was a repeat within in the same marathon like how TV land did with Married With Children.

So a marathon filled with different eps are a thing of the past?? Damm, so sad what cable tv has become

Yeah, it seems like all marathons now have to do this. The most annoying is when you watch a bit during the first cycle and then decide to tune in later and expect, and rightfully so, different episodes and then see the same ones come on that you've seen before. So frustrating!

Last good marathon I watched? The 48 Hour Night Court Marathon in 2005. Too bad it was the only time TV Land showed certain episodes. I still haven't seen the second Halloween episode (The one where they trick Dan into dressing as The Scarecrow) and probably won't until it comes to DVD.

I miss marathons like that for new shows coming to the channels, it gave me interest and exposure to some older material that had not been on satellite or cable in a while.

I think the last TV land marathon that had different eps in the entire marathon was the Labor Day Marathon in 2006

I was referring to marathons that are 24 hours or longer

Guess you missed The Jeffersons marathon on TV Land on Saturday. It had no repeats. But "Forgetful Jones" forgot about it, lol?

Pav I was referring to a 24 hour marathon without repeats, the Jeffersons marathon was 6 hours

Yeah - the last "marathon" I watched was 2 episodes of one show played back to back, then a different shows - 2 eps played back to back, then back to the original show - same eps. How lazy can you get?
