There was not one MJ CD under $20.00. I wanted an old song-"got to be there" and it was $25.00 for the CD. FYE can kiss my A$$

This doesn't surprise me one bit, Some idiot on eBay paid over $1000 for an used copy of the Thriller Lp which will probably be obtainable at flea markets for under 5 bucks once all the hoopla dies down.

I really want to get a copy of Thriller on CD, but I may wait a while. All this publicity reminds me of when Princess Diana died. It was almost surreal, her death, being that she was in the media every minute. I didn't think there could be any more publicity until she died, but I was so wrong. I'm glad for now it's calmed down quite a bit.

I'm not surprised one bit. CD sales on Ebay are insane, even for used ones. Some of the buying prices start at $25 or $30.

Ditto. I had it on cassette, but I've been wanting it on CD for a while, just never got around to getting it. But I too am planning on just waiting a couple of months.

. considering the current and dire economic and employment situations in the US and UK, people are so desperate they are willing to hike up the prices. in life nothing is for free- and yet most people are unable to afford the things they want, especially because of the credit crunch and financial problems they are having to deal with.
