Star Trek Next Generation Star LeVar Burton in Accident - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ LeVar Burton was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles early yesterday evening.

We're told Burton -- who hosted "Reading Rainbow" and starred in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Roots" -- collided with a car making a left turn at the intersection of Laurel Ave. and Beverly Blvd. at around 7:30 PM PT.

Our sources say Burton and the other driver were both taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

I sure he is ok I think he is just recovering from The Car Accident that he was in.

Levar should stick to flying starships, it's safer! (for those who don't remember Geordie LaForge was helmsman of The Enterprise in season 1 of Star Trek TNG)
