Well, I see Hollywood isn't finished with desecrating classic TV shows.

Keep up the good work Hollywood!

...and yet somehow they are still blaming illegal downloading for poor movie sales.

Yeah, of all the classic cartoons that seem like candidates for live action, "HKF" isn't very high on my list. They only made like 13 episodes of it, and if it weren't for the voice of Scatman Crothers and the catchy theme song, I probably wouldn't even remember it.
Then again, maybe it's better if Hollywood wastes its fire on lower level shows like this instead of further eviscerating more truly beloved shows like "Land of the Lost" and "Scooby Doo"...

What will they do next? Make "Breezly and Sneezly" into a movie with Billy Crystal as Sneezly and John Goodman as Breezly?...or make Loopy de Loop into a movie and have Steve Martin cast as Loopy?! (Now I like these cartoons, but it seems that Hollywood may be doing this already)!

it seems as if hollywood can't keep its mitts off classic cartoon shows by making and pumping out live action/big screen versions of them. this is one of the reasons why i have always preferred tv over movies.
they messed up with alvin and the chipmunks and scooby doo to name and they'll do the same with hong kong phooey. |
