Post R.P. has GOT to come back, damn it!

He's got to! What Donny Most did for 'Happy Days' all in the name of his 'Ralph Malph' character (comic-reliever), Robert Pierce did ten-fold all in the name of his 'BINGO' character on 'Joannie Loves Chachi'. Face it, Bingo was the ONLY BRIGHT SPOT on that damn lame-o show; and because R.P. was a part of that show, his career never quite tookoff the way it should have. If you knew the man's early 80s resume, you'd totally understand. He's funny as sh**! A complete riot! So far he has been the comedic legend that never was. He'd be head and shoulders above the Carreys, Crystals, and Murphys by now if HE JUST GOT THE RIGHT ROLES back then! However, it's not too late for some smart producer, director, or writer to set Robert up with that 'Pulp Fiction-like' role and bring that man to that spotlight that he truly deserves. And Robert, if you're reading this, it wouldn't hurt at all for YOU to make some initiative as well. There's no guarantee that all the big players in show-biz are going to get out of their rut of stupidity and cast (rediscover) you in something. Come on, Robert, come back! PLEEEEEEEEEASE!

Bingo rules!

Robert Pierce and David Lee Roth, the two coolest dudes in the history of the planet!

Sad

Come on, Kib! Don't be steeling little from my message on the JLC board. Write your own stuff! In either event, I totally agree with all you said for the most part. Hollywood is too stupid to know a good thing when they see it! If they were dumb and closed-minded (just because he was in JLC) 15 years ago, there can't be much hope for them to rediscover him now. It's a dead issue; sad but true. make that VERY sad but true. I don't beleive in miracles therefore I don't believe we'll see Robert Pierce the star that he deserves to be ever.

Sorry Willow. I should have quoted you. Yeah, something has definitely got to be done about this. RP should not be unemployed. Star-studded success for the man is TOO long overdue. Come back, Robert! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease come back!

I certainly don't agree with you guys on Bingo being 'the only bright spot' on Joannie Loves Chachi because JLC was a good show, but I will agree that Bingo was the best thing about the show. He was a true blue funnyman and brought more to the table comedically for JLC than Donny Most (Ralph Malph) did for Happy Days. That's for certain. The man has just got to come back. He's talented. Maybe he's retired. Who knows. But did any of you guys or anyone on these boards remember Robert Pierce in a made-4-TV movie about the Olympics? He was an Olympic sprinter. It was out around the same time that Joannie Loves Chachi was out. It was called 'The Golden Moment'.
