Scarlett and Joanna did not get along in real life?

This is one of the few shows from the past decade that I actually enjoy watching, even in reruns. However, while it was still in it's initial run, I remember hearing alot of times that the actresses who played the sisters, Scarlett Pomers and Joana Garcia hated each other's guts in real life and couldn't stand to be in the same room with each other. I have no idea why, but I read online that they just did not get along, or Scarlett was jealous of Joana, or whatever. And alot of times, Reba and a few of the other actors would have to referee between the two girls and stop them from coming to blows. Anyone else know about this?

Im pretty sure that that is false. JoAnna mentioned on the season 3 DVD commentary that she missed Scarlett, who left in the fifth season due to her battle with anorexia. And people always say how well the whole cast got along.

I figured it had to have been a rumor, because you just get such a cozy feeling watching that show. I think it was just some silly, stupid rumors that just because they're girls they aren't supposed to get along, which is so silly. I love this show, BTW, and sadly it was taken off because it just didn't fit in well with all the "Gossip Girl"/"One Tree Hill" crap!

The whole cast seemed like they got along well and formed very close relationships with each other in real life. Its a shame that people have create and spread untrue, silly rumors about others. The only rumor that was founded true about this series was the fact of Scarlett Pomers and her fight with anorexia. She talked about it once on E! and she said the reason she came out with her eating disorder was because people were going to find out about it anyway or they were going to make-up their own stories about what they thought was going on, and she said the newspapers were calling her family and said they were going to say she was on heroin or something. And she thought with coming out with her disorder that it would show people that she was trying to get better which I think it really awesome because I am sure in the process that helped other people who were suffering from the same disorder could come out as well and seek the help they need.
