The annoying things about message boards is...
When you say something you really wanted someone to see, then someone else posts so that a new page is formed and the first person doesn't see it because they don't go back to check the previous page.
When people you enjoyed talking to disappear without explanation. When they randomly shut down, thus causing you to experience a sad, sad case of withdrawels. |

I agree on your 2nd and 3rd points, Ashlee... but as for the whole "new page" thing.. well, if I read a thread, and a new page is up... I go back to pick up where I left off... I'm not sure what others do. But I always check to see if I missed anything.
 But on the other two points you made... agreed!

I agree with everything you said; especially the last one. I used to post on a "One Life to Live" board a few years ago, and in the beginning it was almost as busy as this one. Then it started to slow way down and finally the guy shut the site down. I haven't watched OLTL in years, but I still really miss posting on that site. I met one of my best friends through that message board!

I agree about forums shutting down especially when the person that runs the forum dosent tell anyone. I think they should at least tell their posters that they are no longer going to keep that forum going.
