Does anyone know why amazon is listing the Mr Belvedere S1 & 2 DVD set as being "under review"? I already have the set but I'm just curious. It seems as though something is wrong with the set according to amazon. Anyone know anything?

Well, what are some common problems when a set is put "under review" by Amazon? And what's the best way to find out?

I have no idea. I've never seen this before and it just struck me as strange. I wonder what's going on.

Well have you tried e-mailing Amazon, or posting on their forums? I'm sure you'll get your answers by doing either of those things.

Item Under Review

While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)

I emailed amazon but havent heard back yet. I just don't know what the problem could possibly be. I don't know why I want to know either, but I do

Well here's the answer from amazon:

Thank you for writing to Amazon.com with your inquiry.

I was able to locate the item you referenced in your message, "Mr. Belvedere: Seasons 1 & 2", on our website.

Some of our customers received damaged discs, hence we have temporarily removed this item from our website to check our inventory. However, it may be available from other marketplace sellers on the Amazon.com website.

Once you see that the item is available again from Amazon.com, then you can be assured that we have resolved this problem and it should be safe to order the item again.

Apparently someone in their warehouse is playing with the sets and breaking them!

Maybe Amazon got a bad batch of discs.

Oh well, whatever the problem was it's now resolved. The set is off of "review" and the price also dropped to $24.99.

which is one cent below the free shipping price. So you add in the $2.99 shipping it is actually $27.97
