I heard you can call whatever company you have (Cingular, Verizon etc.) and they can give you the lost phone's lat/long position, and you can find it with a gps system, is that true? is their someway I can call AT&T (the company I have, formerly Cingular Wireless) and get them to put the phone on ringtone, instead of vibrator? i'm at my uncles house and babysitting, and suddenly it just disappears. I checked in between the seats on the couch, and I thought it might of fell out of my pocket on the seat of his truck when we drove up this morning, but I remember checking the time on the phone after I was in his house.

Can I ask how old are the kids you are babysitting? Sometimes kids get cell phones to play with. I know I have to hide my cell phone when I have my two-year-old nephew with me.

That sucks, wreckless. I lost my cell phone last summer at a cookout. I had loose pockets though. Because I didn't have insurance on the phone, I had to pay for another. (I use Cricket)
As for that information, try calling AT&T. I think I heard some companies do that, but I am not 100% sure.

I lost my phone at someone's place once, and it was on vibrate as well. I found my phone between the two CPUs he had, on the floor.
![]() Just look for it in really weird places where you don't think it'll be. You might be surprised! |

I found the phone y'all. Thanks anyway. It was in the one play outside of the house that I didn't look
. My cousin has swing sets, but also has a traditional bigger swing for everybody to sit on, and it was right in front of that, in plain site lol.And it was on vibrate. I have loose pockets in these shorts I'm wearing but I have it on ringtone now. Thanks. |

Whew! So glad you found your phone, Wreckless! I would have been SO panicked! I didn't know that about calling the phone company to have them switch the phone to a ring, though. That's good information to have!!

Oh, WRECKLESS you lost your phone? Isn't your name a bit ironic in this situation?
(I mean this in a good natured way)
