I have a very worn out copy of a Peanuts cartoon that I fell in love with the first time I read it. I can barely read the date on it, but I believe it's 10/18/2004. I found it in the Seattle Times and I've looked everywhere I can think of for a copy I can print.
It has three frames. In the first frame, Marcie is talking to Charlie Brown. She holds out her hands and says "See how my hands shake, Charles? It's because of all the pressure..." Second frame: Marcie-"My parents think I should get perfect grades in everything every day!" Third frame: Marcie is sitting on the sofa, with her head on a pillow and says "And I'm so tired.." Charlie Brown is looking at her with concern, and Snoopy says (in his thought balloon way) When she wakes up give her a cookie. I always thought that was the saddest Peanuts comic strip I have ever seen! Definitely one of my all-time favorites!I've tried Comics.com, but it won't pull the strip up by the date I've listed, even with a date range. I have no idea what the original date was. I've also tried snoopy.com, but it has a big message saying that it's being revamped and will be back in a "couple of weeks". Unfortunately, that was a few years ago, that I first saw this message. I also wondered if there is a Peanuts message board anywhere around. I'm sure someone there would know how to find this cartoon. Thanks if you can help me!! Andrea |

I have always liked Peanuts. It wasn't drop dead funny and it was mild compared to South Park, American Dad or Family Guy, but it served it's purpose.

Try unitedfeatures.com. United Features has been syndicating the Peanuts strip since its debut.
