Interesting, I preordered some time ago and just checked with Amazon before logging on here and my order has not been shipped.

I got a chance to preview the new The Lucy Show Season One DVD set last night, and I must tell you it's fantastic. The image quality of these uncut episodes is crystal clear, like the I Love Lucy DVDs (I wish I had HD TV), the menus and graphics are very creative, the many extras are wonderful and include footage from some long-lost broadcasts and numerous photos (I haven't counted, but I understand there are about a hundred photos) and lots of other stuff. And among this "other stuff" are the interviews with Lucie Arnaz and Jimmy Garrett. They both provide some wonderful memories and insights. Lucie is a hoot and I'd be interested in hearing your feedback on her comments, particularly towards the end of the interview (which had me laughing). I'm not going to write any spoilers, so I'll just leave it at that. And something I really love is a feature that allows you to watch the show with the original opening and closing titles and cast commercials. Bottom line, you should all be very pleased with this product. And I have seen nothing but really, really positive reviews of this DVD set. Here is a sampling:

Well its Monday, and my mail came. Didn't get my Lucy yet. Oh well, it sure better be here tomorrow.
