The 320-ft, 20-storey Midwest Plaza was the home of the WJM-TV station. in earlier episodes of the series, the 13-story addition with the parking garage was not visible. The addition wasn't built until 1972-73 during the third season of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. The WJM employee parking would have been located in that parking garage.

Great pics! If I ever visit the Twin Cities, I will make a point of visiting this locale (and of course, where the Mary statue is located , by the Nicollet Mall?).

I'm with you. I'd love to visit the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. When I do, I will take photos of the more exact angle. Plus sneak one or two of the house.
