Default Hallmark Channel Pulls ILL Off Daytime Schedule

That is sad. But, since they put it on and then took it off constantly, it didn't have time to build an audience. Are the same people who program TV Land programming the Hallmark Channel too?

They're just removing it from daytime. But still.....

I guess it's just not doing well at all. I'd love to see the actual ratings for Lucy. It can't be doing THAT bad, could it?

How weird, because "Lucy" is one of the few classic TV shows that is (or in this case "was") still aired. You'd think with some of the garbage on TV today, that people would be glad to see some quality TV shows.

Honestly, I think 3 hours in a row of any one show is too much but why take off all three daytime hours?

One hour a day would do. I see so much of the Golden Girls shown. How come there is so much of GG?

I always respected Hallmark in the past, but now, they're just playing the same TV Land-type games: if it's not a HUGE ratings winner, then "off with its head". They don't give any shows a chance to build its ratings up. With all the constant schedule changes, how do they expect anyone to keep up??? By the time people realize Lucy's on at a certain time, they go and change it again. You need a damn score card with these channels. Alot of cable providers don't offer Hallmark, either, so it's still not in the mainstream of the viewing pool.

Oh well, hopefully, Lucy will find some station to call home. At least TV Land had her on for many, many years in their classic lineup heyday. There's shows like I Dream of Jeannie that are on stations like WGN. If that show can make it, certainly Lucy should!!!

This should of been fairly obvious by now. I pity Nick at Nite, TV Land and the Hallmark Channel because their programming has degraded into awful reality television. There is so much crap on television now that I wonder why it's worth looking into anymore. Most of the television shows and cartoons I grew up with are now on DVD, and I no longer have to settle for constant changing of schedule or annoying commercials.

Television today doesn't have the "magic" that it did years ago. It's all become a matter of how much profit the networks bring in and how low these idiots can go. The television industry isn't run by artists, it's run by corporate businessmen who want your hard earned money. It's gotten to be a joke just like most other things these days.

Creativity has sunk to a new low.

This is so true!!!
I feel that's why so many new promising TV shows get cancelled before even getting a fair chance.
It doesn't matter what the critics or fans say, if it's not bringing in enough, it's cut...

As much as I hate to see ILL not being aired on a national level, I take this as good news. ILL deserves better than what it has been given on Hallmark. Besides, with cable everyone has become spoiled by expecting it on a national channel. Before cable local airings were the only way to see it anyway (post-1967 of course).

Maybe it is time for it to be brought back to local syndication, say, on a barter basis. Or heck, maybe RTN can do a new deal with CBS and bring back the Paramount library. I'm so tired of Hallmark's ying yang wishy washy ways
