Wow, are he and Kobe going to be able to co-exist on the same team?

If I'm Ramona (Lakers fan), I'd be panicking right now.
This could hurt the team more than it could help them. |

Why in the heck would the Lakers even think about picking up Artest?? I'm sorry, but I just don't get it. The Lakers are a Championship team, and have great chemistry, why even take the chance of messing that up?? And with a guy like Ron Artest no less. The guy can definitely play ball, but he's immature and unpredictable, and I can't see why the Lakers would take the chance with a guy like him. I still think the Lakers will be the best team in the league next season, but honestly, this move makes zero sense to me!!

^^ Because they think they can control him, and be even better offensively....sure they lost Ariza, and maybe Odom if they don't resign him as well, but they will be better on the offensive and defensive end, on the court.

I don' think Artest gets enough credit, he has been a good teammate and helped the Rockets get to the 2nd Round

EX. Terrell Owens, Ron Artest, Allen Iverson etc. Hate McNabb, hate Favre.... but I do agree with you, Artest had a great year, taking his team to the 2nd round and giving them a great boost of offense and defense, and behaved very well.....even the incident in the playoffs, in the 2nd round vs. the Lakers where the elbows were thrown, Kobe was throwing bows first. |
