Wink What Are Your Guilty Pleasures?

My guilty pleasures are

1. Watching outrageous commercials on T.V, and then running over to Youtube to see if anyone posted the commercial and read the comments(i.e, Shamwow Commercial.)

2. My Dave stories. I just love my Dave character dearly!

3. Wondering what stupid thing that guy who likes Sunny on the Raisin Bran Crunch will say at the end of the commercials.

4. Brownie Earthquake from Dairy Queen. Oreos, marshmallow cream, vanilla ice cream, brownies, whip cream, and fudge sauce! Yum!

- Danielle Steel made-for-tv movies. Absolute crap - but perfect for a mindless Thursday. And it's a great way of getting some me-time. My dad or bro catch me watching one they run for the hills

- VC Andrews books. Yeah, like Flowers in the Attic. Rape and incest and kidnappings, these books are scraping the bottom of the barrel. But you can't read Charles Dickens and Jane Austen all the time!

- Beer battered onion rings. I make them myself. And then I have a glass or two of wine afterwards. After three weeks on the nordic track I might make up for them.

- Dark Shadows. Just now started watching that show and now I just have to find out what happens next.

- Fanfiction.net. My username is princesspat. Now you know my deep, dark secret. I used to write fanfiction on here too. Maybe I will again...

Eating Rocky Road icecream in bed whilest watching any 70s or 80s crime drama show, or a sappy made-for-TV Romance movie.

Being home alone and playing the piano as loud as I can.

There's something funny about that, I'm not sure what.

Lifetime movies.

Eating two vanilla ice cream sandwiches at a time.

Kissing my kitties a lot; I'll kiss them like 10 times in a row on the forehead.

I love Full House.

So do I! Well, I miss them when I'm at work all day. I also have full conversations with them. They're great listeners.

* Every 3 or 4 months, I stay up all night and watch 80s music videos on YouTube.

*I like to work on my Claudette Colbert scrapbook.

* I like to sing Marilyn Monroe songs.

* When I'm really down, I watch Sixteen Candles. Jake Ryan...

Default to name a few...

HGTV - I enjoy watching thier shows like Design On A Dime which show really neat and inexpensive ways to modify or make stuff around your house into something unique. Whenever I'm in "project mode," i.e. making something (like today, I'm repainting some old picture frames and turning them into chalkboards) I have HGTV on in the background to give me inspiration.

Investigation Discovery Channel - Sure the entire channel is mostly just old Dateline NBC episodes, but I sometimes watch the channel for hours. Some of the stories are really interesting.

Cookies - I'm really trying to cut back on the junk food, but I just can't resist buying cookies. I need help!

Any "Police Video" show - I love watching the high speed chases and crashes. ALso that former Sherriff guy on Wildest Policve Videos delivers some of the worst line readings in the history of voiceovers. He cracks me up!

Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed - One of my newest guilty pleasures, MY9 here in NYC shows episodes Monday nights. I love trying to figure out how they do the tricks - and then they tell you how they do it! The ways they design these tricks fascinate me!
