My "BEST" vote goes for all of the Hawaii episodes. They are stunning! Although there was some back up footage of Mike and Carol talking about Don Ho's performance at night that you can't see anywhere else, and a scene where Bobby sits on the Ukulele that you can tell was also from a back up print. However, the bulk of the Hawaii exterior shots are superb.
Close runner up for best is "Cincinnati Kids." Great clarity, and probably one of the most restored cut footage of any Brady Bunch episode. My "WORST" DVD transfer vote goes to: "The Elopement." The whole episode looks like it was put together from a back-up print, or a very old VHS tape. There are better quality prints that Paramount should have used here! A close runner up for worst is "Snow White and the Seven Brady's." Several back up prints used for scenes where it is known better prints exist. Just as a side-note, Warner Home Video did Sherwood Schwartz's other property Gilligan's Island, and those DVD's are so amazingly beautiful you would think you were watching a sit-com made yesterday! Beautiful tropic blues and lush colors. The clarity is amazing. Equally amazing is that you can not tell where any back up footage was used. They must have been able to find and restore all the prints to pure digital brilliance. Why The Brady Bunch DVD's received such a mixed bag of quality transfers. This is very disappointing for this great series! Jack |

That's really a shame that the masters were cut. Thanks for the info.
