I went to the Seattle Film Festival and saw the premire of the Collin Hanks/John Malcovich/Tom Hanks film "The Great Buck Howard" last year. I even got to meet the director. That was so cool! The night before they had a special showing that Collin Hanks was at. I would have loved to have met him!

No I never been to a movie premiere. I have been to a few advanced screenings that I was fortunate enough to get tickets for.

I have not been in a movie or any commericials. So far my only television appearance was on a local news broadcast.

So far I have been to 2 movie sets. I was in Boston when they were filming The Departed and recently I decided to go over to where Kevin Smith was shooting A Couple of Dicks in my area. I didn't get to see much, just a bunch of trucks and crew members running around. I saw the trailers where the actors were in but they had security in the front and around the set so no chance of getting close.

As of now I met a few celebrities in public (not at a fan event, fan convention, theater show, concert...)

I saw Paul Giamatti down in Downtown Brooklyn a few months ago.
I saw documentary film-maker Morgan Spurlock (Super-Size Me) in New York City last year.
I was with my sister one time in Downtown Brooklyn and she pointed out Roger Howarth. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have a clue on who he was since I don't watch his soap operas.

I stumbled across the premiere of Thunderbirds in London. That was pretty cool. I met Sophia Myles, Bill Paxton and Ben Kingsley. Kingsley, by the way is a very gracious gentleman - he was actually late getting into the film because he spent so much time talking to fans. He's also quite short. I'm 5'4 and was wearing high heels (add maybe 2 inches) and he was the same height as me! I also met the star of the film, Brady something-or-other, but had no idea who he was

I also saw Jonathan "Commander Riker" Frakes and Charles Dance. Dance didn't say hi to anyone, just went straight in. Found out later he was dating Sophia Myles at the time (at ages 27 and 60 respectively)... ew!!!!

Well, I was in a commercial for my grandmother's basket shop in Indiana when I was about six. Does that count?

One of my nieces was an extra in the early 90's film Hear No Evil with Martin Sheen, Marlee Matlin, and DB Sweeney.

My only experience with meeting a celebrity was when I was at the Satyricon(live music club) in Portland, OR in the early 90's and I was standing in line at the bar. The girl in front of me was buying a pitcher of water, she turned bumped into me and spilled water on me. She apologized and bought me a pitcher of beer for me and my friends. It was Julianna Hatfield who was getting ready to go on with The Lemonheads.

I haven't been to an actual set, but I have been to locations where films were made. I've been to The Goonie's house in Astoria, OR.
I've been to the Timberline Lodge several times- which is where the exterior of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining '80 was filmed.
I've been to two locations from Brainsmashers: A Love Story(Andrew Dice Clay, and Terry Hatcher)- The Lotus Club(Dice's character lived in an apartment above the club), and Mary's Club(even though the club in the movie was a different name and exterior).
I've also been to the Pittock Mansion in Portland, OR which is where the early 80's slasher flick Unhinged was filmed, along with The Haunting of Sarah Hardy, and Body of Evidence.

I was just an extra in a movie which filmed this past weekend. It was so cool and fun but, was very hot. They took care of us by providing lots of water and even provided lunch. I'm a little sun burnt, loved the experience.
