Was watching the ep when Eddie was harassed by two white cops and it felt so real when Carl was in the face of one of the cops. It no longer felt like I was watching a sitcom and that's because of the great acting skills of Reginald.
That's why he was always my favorite character watching this show growing up |

I loved him in Die Hard. He's always been very underrated as an actor.

Wel, we do know it was season 4 or 5 because of the reasons below 1. There was no Rachel 2. There was no Judy 3. Opening Theme was still there 4.Eddie was not in College Yet |

It's season 5, the episode is called "Good Cop, Bad Cop". The theme song dissaperaed after season 6.

And I guess it made sense to get rid of the theme after season 6 because by that point, The Winslows Kids, and their friends were all in their 20's |

Reginald was very underrated as an actor. I love that episode you brought up, because Carl brought out so much emotion. He supplied the fire when needed. He was also funny (when he wanted to be) and was one of my favorite TV Dads. He was fun to be around, a wonderful dad, and a loyal husband. I liked him waaaaaay better than Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince.
