Twilight Zone creator and host Rod Serling, the Lone Ranger and 18 other television icons from the '50s will be honored on first-class postage stamps to be released August 11.

The U.S. Postal Service plans to hold a ceremony dedicating the set of "Early TV Memories" commemoratives at 10:30 a.m. PT on that date at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, CA.

The event will be free and open to the public.
