I agree. I loved the character of Maude, and liked the show Maude, and the two were great on it, but Bea and Rue were fantastic together as Dorothy and Blanche on The Golden Girls.

Yeah, and Vivian was'nt a regular character in the beginning. And for a while was only a semi-regular. But if were just talking about Maude vs. Golden Girl's Dorothy, its a toss up to me.

I liked Bea as Maude but Rue's character on that show just seemed to boring IMO.

I guess I would go with the golden girls option.
