Does anyone remember the name of a short lived sitcom in the 90's about a dad who have two daughters...I think they lived in New York and the actor who played the dad was a stand-up comedian with dark hair. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.

Does anyone remember a show fron the nineties that stared a stand up comic who have 2 daughters or 1 son and 1 daughter...I think they lived in New York and he might have been a sports writer or had something to do with sports. I can't seem to remember the name. Thanks for the help.

Is it a show called Sports News, or something? Set in a TV Sports news show studio set?
One of the teachers at Fullerton College is Ron Michaelson, the banker-guy in the Dietch commercials who says, "Lost another loan to Dietech!" For his Acting For the Camera class, the Final of the class is the students acting in an episode of that show. I haven't taken that clas, yet, sadly. Hope he'll still be doing it in 2008, because I've got to take a class in a conflicting time slot.
