a (now removed) weekend Tweet from “Scream” creator Kevin Williamson revealed that his newly planned trilogy may require some creative re-casting. In the writer’s own words: “Trying to figure out a Sid-less scenario. She won’t do it. This sucks.”

“She,” of course, is “Scream” star Neve Campbell. While it hadn’t been made clear earlier exactly what Williamson’s plans are for the coming trilogy, he’d revealed that he hoped to bring back as many characters as possible. The Arquettes, David and Courteney Cox, are already in talks. Frightmaster Wes Craven has suggested that he might even be game to direct again. Campbell bowing out isn’t the kiss of death for the return to “Scream,” but it will certainly hurt. More than any of us know, apparently

She's in a new series, I forget what network though. Sometimes you have to move on, maybe she doesn't want to get typecast.

Come to think of it I never heard of her again after 2000's Scream 3.

I know she has done other movies and some tv work but I never saw anything she did after the Scream's. She's not a box office draw anymore.

Neve has never been a box office draw hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I saw a movie she did called When Will I Be Loved and it sucked really bad. She was a expensive prostitute in the movie and there was one love scene that she had with a female friend that i liked LOL. Too bad they didn't get naked because i wanted to see that hahahahahahahahahaha. They almost got naked LOL. I saw another movie she did with Dylan McDermott and the guy that played on Friends tv show. I can't think of his name but i liked the movie. It was a romantic comedy. I forgot about her Wild Things movie. I like that too.

I did like Three to Tango too. I think Neve is a great actress. She is also on the new NBC show The Philanthropist. I don't blame her for not wanting to be in the Scream movies.
