I found a recent artical abut Suzanne Somers, which includes a small interview at the end, she also say how she saw Norman Fell in a restrunt two weeks before he died, and ask him why Joyce Dewitt was mad at her.

Getting Three’s Company was a dream come true. Lucy was a huge fan of the show, and once told me that she thought John Ritter, who played Jack Tripper, was a genius.

Lucy was right,. And Lucy would know. John taught me so much. I never had an acting lesson before Three’s Company, but I spent six years with John, and studied with the best. I was like a sponge with him. He was a genius comically, as Barry is a genius musically. And John’s comic timing was also genius. I loved him. I miss him. And I miss the years we spent not talking. But looking back, I deserved making as much money as John. I’m glad I did what I did; because of me, women on TV are paid as much as men and if they deserve more, they are paid more. They may never realize it, but their huge salaries are because of the whole Three’s Company debacle.

Yes, she deserved to be paid well, but for her to say she deserved as much as John is ridiculous. John clearly was the star of TC. He did probably 90% of the physical comedy on that show and he always had the most lines. I always try to give Suzanne the benefit of the doubt whenever the Salary dispute is brought up. I've always felt that it was just some big misunderstanding, much like many episodes of TC, but she goes and says something like that, she comes off as very arrogant, IMO

She probably doesn’t know. There’s probably some jealousy. I’ve forgiven her, and she’d probably be so angry to hear that because she probably thinks she doesn’t need any forgiving. I don’t want this to sound self-serving, but I was in a restaurant and saw Norman Fell [the actor who portrayed Stanley Roper]. I went over, put my arm around him, caressed his head and said, ‘Norman, why do you think Joyce DeWitt is still so pissed at me?’ He looked up and over his shoulder he said, ‘Cause you didn’t flunk.’” And he died two weeks later.

Well, so much for a Joyce and Suzanne reunion. I never had much hope for that, but I'm pretty sure this is the final nail in the coffin.

Yea I agree. John was the star of the show. Any of the others could have been replaced. She just thought that she was bigger than she actually was. In the long run I think her leaving helped the show because it kept things fresh by bringing in Cindy and Terri. I do think she was the best blonde roommate though, at least before they made her so dumb.

And what did Norman Fell mean by flunk?

I agree, I loved the Chrissy character, but towards the end she sort of became the female version of Homer Simpson, and that was kind of annoying. I noticed in the Season 5 Tag Scenes, she was so stupid, much more than she was when she was a regular on the show. I often wondered if the writers made her that way on purpose, for all the trouble Suzanne gave them.

Your guess is as good and mine. I don't really believe he ever said that, but even if he did, I still think it was wrong for Suzanne to bring that up. It just adds fuel to the fire.

By Season 4, Chrissy was dumber than Homer Simpson ever was. I wanted to smack her every time she opened her mouth. The Priscilla Barnes era was a lot more enjoyable, and so were the Jenilee Harrison eps. I have to agree with everyone else here - the undisputed star of the show was John, and to his credit, he never acted like one. He always seemed to be a team player, on every show he did afterwards (Hooperman, Hearts Afire and 8SR).

No offense to anyone, I really apologize if I do, but I really do not care for that woman. I mean, good for her and all she's been through and overcome, but her personality I just do not care for. Joyce doesn't talk about the whole "fued" because she's mature enough to realize it's dead and done with and if she doesn't want to be Suzanne's friend, she doesn't have to. But Suzanne always needs to throw in those snippy comments like she's still in highschool and I don't understand why she just doesn't let it go.

That's understandable. I like her as an actress and I was happy that she beat cancer, but some of the things she says... I don't know, it's like she's in her own world sometimes. I mean she forgives Joyce... for what? Very condescending, IMO.

That was one of my favorite episodes. Seeing Jack and Janet's reactions when they thought Chrissy was going to die was priceless.

I don't know why they dumbed her down but it was stupid. The original Chrissy was not dumb. She was more naive than anything else. Suzanne was never sexier than in the first couple seasons of the show.

Agreed. She lost a lot of her sex appeal whenever she had those crazy ponytails.

I'm beginning to think that there really is no problem between the girls. I think this is all in Suzanne's head. Joyce probably doesn't talk to her because she moved on. Just because you don't talk doesn't mean you don't forgive. Suzanne is the one that needs to be forgiven and I don't understand why Joyce needs to be forgiven for anything. Joyce has always been a good girl and never did anything to hurt anybody.

That's what I tend to think, too. I think somewhere along the line, Suzanne, her husband and/or the media made a mountain out of a molehill.
