My copy finally arrived today! What an episode, don't know why but this show always chokes me up. Bud's girlfriend reminded me of someone and then it hit me. During the mid to late 70's and into the 80's she played Dr. Leslie Webber, Laura's Mom on General Hospital.

this was a real heart tugger of an episode. And a clear example of why the TV Bud was way better than the radio Bud!

I agree....It was good because, Margaret let him go on his date even though she would be disappointed. Can't wait to see the rest.

I love Father Knows Best. I should rent the DVD's. I haven't seen this show in years. BTW, I'm sure everyone knows this but Betty played the sales person in "Pretty Woman" who helps Julia Roberts buy a cocktail dress. I knew right away it was her.

Yeah also Elinor Donahue was in the first season of The Andy Griffith Show and she also guest starred in one episode of Diffrent Strokes in the episode The Woman.

Does anyone remember her on Golden Girls? I believe she was going to marry Dorothy's ex, Stan.

That is a good episode and I also noticed the very young Denise Alexander. She was also on Days Of Our Lives before GH back in the late 60's as Susan Martin.

Elinor Donahue was also on Days of Our Lives as a nasty nurse in 1984 & 85. I don't think I ever saw her play a bad person before that.
