Default How many working people on this board actually get 8 hours of sleep every night?

The most I get is 6 and the least is 4 hours. I don't know of anyone who gets 8 hours-lol

Maybe when they are off

I rarely get eight, usually about six. If I'm not at work then I'm out partying or hanging around the house, not sleeping.

I really 7-8 to feel really up to snuff. But many nights I get 4-6 like you. I make up for it (sort of) on the weekends where I sleep 9-10 hrs.

I'm trying to get more sleep, and it's easier now with my meds. I probably get about 7 hours of sleep per night.

Eight hours? I wish. And it's all my fault. I just am not a morning person, and since 2004 I've had to get up before 5 AM for work. I loathe it, actually. But life has made working 2nd shift pretty hard for a long while, so I might be stuck with it for now. I love staying up late, particularly on the weekends.

I usually get between 6-8 hours of sleep a day. It depends on my workload. If I'm pretty busy I sometimes go to bed a bit early. My work schedule changes a lot because I work in sales between my house, a company office and various client offices.

I can get 8 hours or more but with sleep apnea I always feel like I haven't slept a wink.

Well, if I fell asleep right now, I'd get 6 hours. But I'm not. I average 5...naps after work are essential.

I usually get 4-6 hours, unless I don't have to work or go to school, then I sleep as long as I want, LOL

4 to 6 hours is all I get. I wake up 1 or 2 times a night. I would kill for a good nights sleep!

i have never in my entire life slept for 8 hours straight.

the closest i have ever come is right after surgery while still all hopped up on drugs or after a very bad allergy attack while recovering from severe anaphylactic shock.
