The super-catchy theme song to 'Facts of Life' was co-written by Alan Thicke - whom you might know as Jason Seaver from 'Growing Pains.' The sitcom world is small indeed

The version that ran from Seasons 2 until 6 (I think) was the best. I wasn't a fan of the rocked-up version of the Beverly Ann era, and the first version was cringeworthy at best.

I actually like the rocked-up version the best. Though I know most people would agree with you.

Wow, the Mary Tyler Moore show theme is nowhere to be found...hmm, another list that seems to have been compiled mostly by people who haven't been exposed to much TV before 1980.

And The X-Files and Dragnet?? Those aren't even songs!

Gossip Girl? Are they out of their freakin' minds? Where are the REAL good ones like TMTMS (previously mentioned), either of Bob Newhart's shows, Green Acres, Mr. Ed, Family Ties, The Jeffersons, All in the Family? The list goes on and on and on. And I love Family Guy, but its theme song is nowhere near as good as the themes to the aforementioned shows. But this is the world we live in... the one that loves to ignore the real classics.

I agree with you Mike, I like the rock version better myself.

Some of those surprise me but I do love the Saved By the Bell theme.

I like the version from the last couple of seasons best as well. I think it's really catchy and makes me want to sing along!

The other seasons were okay, but season 1 was horrible!

I wish the original Twilight Zone theme had made it but the #1 choice is good. Some had no business being on that list and there is a connection between The Facts of Life and The Twilight Zone, Can anyone tell me what it is?
