Travis Tritt's father, James E. Tritt, died Monday (June 15) in Marietta, Ga. He was 76. Funeral services will take place Thursday (June 18) in Marietta. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Atlanta. James E. Tritt was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired school bus driver for the Cobb County school system where he was commended by the Red Cross for saving the life of one of his passengers. Because of his father's death, Travis Tritt has cancelled his Thursday concert in Somerset, Wis.

I'm sorry to hear about Travis' dad. I'm fan of his. I'm playing Tell Me I'm Dreaming right now as a way to pay tribute to Travis' dad. RIP James E. Tritt.
