Question Is there an Actor You Would Like to See Make a Movie Comeback?

An actor that was once a big star, but no longer is because of box office flops, drugs, or just quit. Is there any actor you would like to see make a comeback?

For example, John Travolta made a HUGE comeback as Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction."

Robert De Niro. Sure he's still a big star, but what has he made over the last 10 years that has been any good? Compared to Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and The Deer Hunter, that is.

Val Kilmer.

I really like him and it's a shame he has been direct-to-DVD/limited release in recent years.

Doris Day - she still says she'll come out of retirement if she's ever offered anything decent.

It would be great to see Hayley Mills have a big hit and get an Oscar nomination.

And I have a feeling we haven't heard the last from Peter MacNicol.

I wish Mike Meyers would make a comeback in a big way.

For years he's been coasting doing Shrek voiceovers, and then there was that god awful Love Guru last summer.
I wish he would do something that didn't involve that damn ogre or stupid characters in costumes.

I'm also a big Val Kilmer fan. He lives here in New Mexico about an hour away from me. He has a ranch/resort that he is now running and he starting to get involved in politics here. I really wish would make a comeback.

I agree he needs to do something different from those types of characters.

I agree about Kilmer.

I'd also love to see Albert Brooks come back and do a cracking good comedy. He's one of the comic geniuses of the last thirty years IMO, and his style of satire based, intelligent observational comedy would be a breath of fresh air in this era of comedies about middle aged slobs raging against commitment.

One of his last big theatrical releases was a mega-flop, 2004's Alexander. It had a huge A-list cast but I heard the movie was awful.

Also more recently I loved the movie he did with Robert Downey Jr. called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It did get good reviews but this movie is still somewhat obscure to the mainstream audiences.

Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson are happily married, but I'd love to see them both back in the spotlight.
