I can't recall. I am watching some of the episodes from the marathon, and they seem to not drive like many teens. They always seem to rely on Al for a ride.

I think the only person in the DMV was Al when his license expired

I know they drove in at least one episode. In "No Chicken, No Check" Bud and Kelly bought a car and they both had dates on the same night so they had to make it a double date. And I know during the last few seasons of the show, Bud worked at the DMV. I remember the episode where Al had to take his driving test again and Bud was his driving examiner.

in one of the episodes aired in the past day or so Bud asked to borrow the Dodge because he said he had to go through a rough part of town and if he turns his cap backwards and drives the Dodge, even the gang bangers will steer clear of him.

I can't think of Bud driving, but he worked at the DMV. In the "Raingirl" Kelly crashes her car at the end of the show and I'm not completely sure, but I think kelly drives a car in "T-R-A...Something, Something Smells Tramp" as well.
