Thumbs down One of the most shocking series finales TV ever dared air.

What's the point in having everybody getting killed? When I saw it, I was like, WHAT!!!!!

It was very sad, and extremly uncalled for. This was worse then anything could happen on a sitcom. What happens is a group is forcing the prehistoric age to go into the ice age, which will make them extinct, but instead of them just disappearing they must be killed, and destroyed, which does happen...and Baby says the line that makes the episode sad..."I don't want to have to die Daddy".

The series finale was my favorite episode. I like the final episode of a show to be somewhat touching or sad. I think that the ending of "Dinosaurs" was appropriate. I mean, dinosaurs did go extinct.

And, just to correct callmetootie's comment, the baby asked "are we going to move?"

Earl said, "No, this is the only world we got."

Then the baby asked the really moving question - "What's going to happen to us?"

Earl replies: "I don't know."

I loved the finale! It was extremely touching, and very fitting. I mean, it's the end of "Dinosaurs." So why not show the end of *dinosaurs*. It was very clever!

It was a sad episode, but very clever. Dinosaurs was always an unconventional show, and it's ending certainly upheld that reputation.

As I recall, the episode was not promoted as being a series finale whatsoever, which made the ending of the episode all the more shocking.

Still, I commend the series creators for how they ended the show's run. And the show was filled with messages that could be applied to life right now...I'm suprised nobody has brought that up.

I never saw the last episode but it does sound pretty sad and bad. Worse than the Seinfeld series finale. When you end a show it is suppose to be a happy ending.

You know, I was watching this final episode last night and still could not believe how clever the show ended. This is perhaps the greatest series finale to ever air on television. It seems like it took so much thought and planning, when in treality it was probably such an easy concept. Nevertheless, it was a sitcom jewel of an episode. Touching and sad, you can't help but to be intrigued by the final episode, especially toward the end whe Earl tried explaining to the Baby exactly what was going on as simple and as not-scary as possible. And then there were those final words of the show said by Earl -- "I'm sure it will all work out okay. After all, dinosaurs have been on this planet for 150 million years.....and it's not like we're gonna just disappear." An extremely outstanding episode this was.

Me either! The last episode I can 'recall' seeing is the one where Earl argues that the earth was indeed round, but not flat, and then they had this 'globe' ay, that was funny. -memories-
