I thought this to be a very intriguing case. This woman was a very clever person, but she eventually gets caught.

That woman is one of the sickest, most dimented people UM ever profiled (and that is saying something). How she could cause so much pain on her own husband and kids is beyond me. She probably died a painful death from the exposure, but I think she still got off easy. |

Marie Hilley should have been put in a prison cell with inmates that are mothers and I guarantee Marie would have been beaten to death.

I didn't hear that Marie's daughter Carol became paralyzed! How awful if that's true.

She reminds me of the sick twisted mind of Ann Miller who poisoned her husband. I recommend the 48 Hours Mystery - Toxic which gives an good insight on the case. (the Miller case)

Mary Hilley case just further proves that your more likely to get killed by your family and friends than a complete stranger.
What defense is there if your own mother kills you. A family member, business partner, lover or friend usually has the best opportunity and motive to kill you. There are more Mary Hilleys in the world than David Berkowitzs. |
