Default Favorite house and apartment

If you had the choice to live in any home or apartment from a TV sitcom which would you choose? Don't go by the state, city or neighborhood it was in, but the house and apartment itself (lay-out, decor, etc).

For the house I would want to live in - that's easy! Since I was a little kid I aways dreamed of living in the Stephens' home on "Bewitched". I'm no longer a child, but I still dream of living in that house (with a few updates).

A close second would be the house on "The Golden Girls"...I always liked that one as well.

For the apartment, it would have to be the second apartment Rhoda Morgenstern took on the last few seasons of "Rhoda". I always thought that apartment was cozy and quaint. I could live there.

As a close second, it would be the opposite end of the spectrum - I would live in Frasier's apartment! It's big and spacious (opposite of cozy and quaint!) and very appealing.

I would like to live at Shady Rest Hotel on "Petticoat Junction". A close second is to live in the same apartment building as "Three's Company". I also wouldn't mind visiting Station 51 on "Emergency".

For a house, that's easy! The Arnold house on The Wonder Years (which I have seen in person, by the way!), of course! I've even fantasized about buying it and living there, provided I find a job in southern California!

As for apartment, I'm kind of leaning toward the apartment Larry and Balki had on Perfect Strangers before they moved into that Victorian house late in the series.

For me, it's the Munsters' mansion.

As for apartments, Mary Richards' first place always seemed really cool to me.

Funny that OOliver mentioned the Bewitched house, because often if I'm reading a book, I seem to picture that house the most when conjuring up an image of the house I'm reading about. Not sure why that is at all.

My favorite TV houses are probably the Full House house (wow, that place is huge for being so narrow!), and Adrian Monk's house on "Monk".

The "Charmed" house is pretty cool, and that attic must be really cool (and spooky!) to be in.

I love the Soprano's house; especially their kitchen!

My favorite house is the Bewitched house that would be my choice. As for apartment I'll choose Ann Marie's apartment from That Girl.

I'm not sure - I really like Frasier's apartment on Frasier. I also think the Keaton home on Family Ties has a really cosy feel to it.

I also quite like the model home on Arrested Development.

I loved that apartment, too. Plus I loved Mary's first apartment on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Hayden's cabin on Coach, and the Stephens house on Bewitched.

Yeah, Frasier's apartment was pretty cool. Except maybe for Martin's tacky easy chair.

But can you imagine the apartment without it? It just wouldn't be the same!

Oh wow! The Munster's house! How did I forget that one?

I also like Ida and Martin Morgenstern's apartment on RHODA. It was sooooo New Yawk. I think that's now my first choice.

I would love to live in the Stephens home just so I could be near Samantha

The house I really like was the Collinwood mansion on Dark Shadows. Sure it was creepy but what a big place and loads of space, and the property outside is beautiful.
