Just out of curiosity, who will be buying The Lucy Show season 1 when it's released next month? I am. I'm not too crazy about Here's Lucy, but I always enjoyed the first three seasons of The Lucy Show because it had Vivian in it.

I'm in. I always liked the Danfield episodes. I didn't like the California episodes as much, but I'll probably buy them too when they come out just to have the whole series.

I'll buy Here's Lucy, but not The Lucy Show. Never really liked that one.

I must say, if you like I Love Lucy, you'd have to like the first season of The Lucy Show because that first season is on par with I Love Lucy, and way better than Here's Lucy (though I think Here's Lucy is generally much better than the later seasons of The Lucy Show). I think that first season of The Lucy Show includes some of Lucille Ball's (and Vivian Vance's) finest work. It's pure gold. Lucy and Viv proved themselves to be one of the best comedy duos in history.

And I have ALL of I.L.L., her Desi movies, and a good # of her later series. How can you go wrong with Lucy? Ans: YOU CAN'T!!!!!! The wonderful classic eps: The Commercial, Switching Jobs etc. She was a genius @ physical comedy. I Love Lucy. If ever there was an appropriate name for a show that was it!!!

I have a good chunk of her movies as well. Back when AMC used to show actual classic movies.
