I was wondering why did Mr Woodman always pick on Mr Kotter Class.

Because they were supposed to be the "special" class in the school. I don't think they meant "special" as in learning disabled though - it was more because the students were lazy about school or were from disadvantaged backgrounds (poor).
Also, Mr. Kotter himself had been the same type of student when he went there and Mr. Woodman didn't like him then either. |

^ I can see that. He wasn't a nice man at all. It makes you wonder why he would end up being a principal of a school since it seemed he didn't like kids.

I never really liked Mr. Woodman but I thought John Sylvester White did a great job playing him.
