A Follow-Up - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

One thing that goes without saying is that this page gets a lot more views and posts than does the page for "Gimme a Break!" However, it seemed that, during the time that both sereis were on, a lot of people who liked this show also liked that one. In any event, last night I started a new thread called "First Time Poster". In between the time that I posted it and the present, the moderator of the board responded to my thread and I, in turn, responded to that response. In any event, the gist of my initial post was to tell you guys how impressed I was by a response to a thread dedicated to random quotes from the show. A newcomer to the board posted a message on that thread that had to do with one of the two episodes that featured the lovely little Hazel Shermet! I have been racking my brain to think of ways to stimulate some conversation about this little old lady! I am crazy about her! If you would like to know more about the situation, go down to a thread started by me called "Unpopular". In any event, although I liked her during both of her appearances on this sereis, the three times that I really thought that she outdid herself was during her appearances on "Gimme a Break!" Well, after I posted my last message here, I went to that show's page to tell my buddies there all about the situation. I then left the board for a little over half an hour. When I returned, there were no views on that thread. However, anything could have happened in the time that it is taking me to write out and post this thread! After I submit this post, I plan on leaving the board for a while and then coming back to that page first and then to this one. I want to see if any of you guys have offered your words of wizdom in either place!

It's obvious from your posts that you are a huge fan of Hazel Shermet. I have read many of your posts, and I apologize that I have not replied to them in the past. I am not very familiar with your favorite actress and the parts she has played. However, since you have posted about her so much I decided to take a look and discovered she is the ultimate guest star. She has been on many shows I enjoy, like Facts of Life, Gimme a Break, Punky Brewster, The Patty Duke Show and others. Although she was not part of the main cast of Facts of Life, I can tell she brings you a lot of joy and I can tell you are her number one fan. Good for you!

Did you know she made an uncredited appearance in the movie Bye Bye Birdie? It airs Wednesday, June 10 at 6:00 eastern time on Turner Classic Movies. I thought you might be interested in case you hadn't seen it.
