Paula Abdul 'Not Sure' She's Returning to 'Idol' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Maybe we'll see Paula Abdul back at the judge's table the next time 'American Idol' airs, maybe not.

The singer tells David Letterman she doesn't know what will happen come next season, Usmagazine.com reports.

"I never said [I wasn't returning]. I just said that I'm not sure," she says. "It's called, um, 'negotiating.'"

For his part, Letterman offered Abdul a little advice. "One time, I tried that, I was coming up to the end of a contract, and I said, 'I don’t know, maybe I won’t come back,' and they said, 'Fine because we’ve got another guy ready to go,'" he joked

I say drop Pala and keep Kara. Just don't let Kara write any more coronation songs.

I agree with you. I do hope Kara stays. Her coronation song wasn't great but she better critiques to contestants than Paula does. Paula overpraised contestants a lot of times this season.
