Which cable networks have improved in 2009, worsened? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

IMO, Improved:

Hallmark - the addition of The Golden Girls and I Love Lucy were very good, and I like how they are scheduling now to where there is more balance, instead of the drama-based, more serious approach they used to have. I love pretty much every one of their shows and a lot of the movies. Their on-air presentation is very good, they aren't annoying....just some new shows added would be good! A couple new sitcoms and maybe a drama this year would help boost things over there. They know their audience!

WGN America - (cluttered and not really good after 12am though, IMO) this channel has turned in to one of the biggest surprises. It hasn't done anything impressive really until last year (I never watched it). Usually channels start off good and worsen, but they've greatly improved with the addition of the older shows, or heck, all of their additions have been good!

Nick at Nite - they are doing very well with their steady schedule and all of their shows seem to be doing well. They know their audience well and don't really surprise them.

WORSENED:

TV Land - end of story

Most of the other syndication/movie/general entertainment networks have stayed pretty OK this year like TBS, FX, etc.

I agree with you on Hallmark and WGN. I wish WGN would air Coach more.
