Default You Must Be An "Ozzie and Harriet" Fan When....

- You think of Ozzie Nelson each time you eat a bowl of ice cream.

- And you are tempted to prounce it ice CREAM (emphasis on the cream) instead of ICE cream. (emphasis on the ICE).

- You try to play the closing theme song on your piano.

Okay, folks: start listing!

I visit the malt shop every chance I get. Then I'm going over to the dance to play some rock and roll with the guys - we'll all be in suits and ties

You are a fan when you hear the song "Tutti Fruiti" you think of Ozzie

You are a fan when you meet someone named Rick you ask if they are a musician

You are a fan when you hear music from the country rock genre you immediety start humming one of Rick's country rock songs.

You are a fan when if you ever get to meet Barry Livingston and tell him you know him from Ozzie and Harriet rather than My Three Sons

You must be a fan when you pray that someday, you'll have all 435 episodes.

Whenever you see a heavy guy, you expect him to immediately come out with a crazy laugh and then ask to borrow ten dollars.

Your heart goes giddyup every time you see a new DVD release of the show, and realize it has eps on it you've never seen!

When someone mentions a "thorny problem," you immediately think of Don Defore.

When rice at a wedding reminds you of frat brother Jimmy and new wife Linda.

When you're watching high circus performers, you can imagine Ozzie saying "Nice work, boys!"

When watching the opening of The Monkees, the rolling bed reminds you of Rick's day in bed (initiated by Dean Hopkins).

When shopping for a lamp reminds you of June and Dave.

You refuse to recieve a shot of archipenaceeten (or "archipelicanseed", as Ricky calls it), preferring to stick with the old fashioned remedy Grandma Nelson used, Gaffney's Blood Tonic.

Whenever you hear the word Kodak, it immediatly makes you think of volumes and volumes of Nelson photo albums.

Pineapples make you think of young married couples traveling to Hawaii (Trip Trap)

Whenever you see a thin wiry bald guy you swear he's someone's family doctor.

Law offices make you immediately think of Mr. Kelley and Miss Edwards.

You are a fan if you gargle with Listerine because you think "it will prevent getting a cold".

You are a fan if you look, almost every week, at Mill Creek Entertainment's website, hoping they have a new 100 episode set. (I do this all the time.)

your idea of cursing is muttering GOSH DARN THORNBERRY!!

When you would hear the Keebler Elf you'd smile and think of Darby!

While loving the nod to Ozzie and Harriet, you fume inside as some tv show makes a joke of having Ozzie and Harriet beds, because we all know They didn't have twin beds!!

You want to smack Carol Brady herself, Florence Henderson for always going around saying Mike and Carol were the first tv couple to share a bed.

You watch Happy Days just to hear references to Ozzie and Harriet.

**I actually read somewhere or maybe I heard it in a tv bio of Happy Days, but it was said that Garry Marshall used Ozzie Nelson as the prototype and basis for creating the ideal 50's dad Howard Cunningham.
